Sebagai informasi, selain produk yang memiliki kualitas tinggi, kualitas draught beer juga berada di tangan seorang bartender pada saat menyajikannya kepada konsumen. Hal ini tentu tidak mudah, karena diperlukan passion, keahlian, dan kualitas.
Selama Iebih dari 150 tahun, Heineken selalu berkomitmen untuk menghadirkan bir berkualitas premium kelas dunia. Mulai dari pemilihan bahan baku hingga segelas bir di tangan konsumen, semua tahapan tersebut selalu melalui pengawasan mutu yang ketat.
“Sebagai bir lager premium nomor 1 di dunia, menjaga kualitas dari penyediaan hingga penyajiaan bir adalah prioritas utama kami. Hal iniIah yang mendasari kami untuk kembali mengadakan kompetisi Star Serve 2019,” ujar Mariska Van Drooge, Direktur Pemasaran PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Niaga, bagian dari Heineken company, saat ditemui di Foreplay Club, Surabaya.
Kompetisi Star Serve 2019 di Surabaya diikuti lebih dari 25 bartender dari berbagai outlet penyedia Heineken. Mereka ditantang menyajikan draught beer secara sempurna. “Heineken Star Serve, memiliki lima langkah penting yang harus dikuasai oleh setiap bartender agar dapat menyajikan draught beer yang sempurna. Lima langkah tersebut adalah Rinse, Pour, Skim, Check dan Serve,” ujar Deden Perdana, Draught Beer Manager, PT Multi Bintang Indonesia, Tbk.
Lebih lanjut, Deden menjelaskan, Rinse adalah teknik mencuci gelas, Pour adalah teknik menuang bir dengan posisi kemiringan gelas 45 derajat, Skim adalah teknik meratakan busa, Check adalah teknik memastikan tinggi busa dan Serve adalah teknik penyajian ke konsumen.
Kelima langkah tersebut bertujuan untuk memastikan bartender dapat menuang setiap gelas bir dengan sempurna karena Heineken percaya betul bahwa alasan konsumen memesan gelas bir yang kedua adalah karena kualitas gelas yang pertama,
Kompetisi Star Serve 2019 ini telah dimulai dari sejak dua minggu yang lalu di Medan (13/08) sebagai kota pembuka, diikuti dengan Jakarta (20/8), Surabaya (27/8) dan nantinya akan berakhir di Bali (3/9).
Secara keseluruhan, kompetisi ini akan mempertandingkan Iebih dari 150 bartender dimana masing masing pemenang di setiap kotanya, akan memperoleh hadiah uang tunai jutaan rupiah. Tidak hanya itu, outlet dimana bartender tersebut bekerja pun akan mendapatkan hadiah berupa Heineken barrel secara cuma-cuma. (Bee 7)
