Begini Cara Bikin dan Perpanjang SIM di Tengah Pandemi

Beerita.id – Ditengah pandemi corona seperti ini bingung mau perpanjang surat izin mengemudi (SIM) tenang aja Polri tetap membuka loket pelayanan SIM di tengah pandemi virus Corona. Begini cara mengurus pembuatan dan perpanjangan SIM dalam kondisi darurat corona.

Sebagai negara hukum, berkendara tentu tetap memiliki syarat dan aturan seperti kepemilikan Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM) yang sah dan masih berlaku. Bagi yang perlu membuat SIM atau melakukan perpanjangan masa berlaku tetap akan dilayani di Satuan Penyelenggara Administrasi SIM (Satpas).

Pelayanan ini tentu tidak seperti hari biasa sebelum pandemi virus Corona menyelimuti dunia. Kasi SIM Subdit Regident Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Lalu Hedwin Hanggara memaparkan ada prosedur kesehatan yang harus dilewati saat memasuki Satpas dan selama proses pengurusan SIM.

“Menggunakan masker, pada saat tiba di Satpas diwajibkan mencuci tangan, mematuhi physical distancing, melalukan pemeriksaan suhu tubuh sebelum memasuki satpas,”

Selebihnya Kompol Hedwin menegaskan tidak ada prosedur teknis pengurusan SIM yang mengalami perubahan, hanya penambahan standar kebersihan dan menambah jarak antara tubuh. Untuk mencuci tangan juga sudah disediakan keran-keran air yang bisa digunakan oleh semua orang.

“Tempat cuci tangan sudah ada, prosedur pembuatan SIM tidak mengalami perubahan,” tegasnya.

Proses pembuatan SIM seperti biasa perlu diingat ada syarat yang harus dipenuhi seperti batas umur sesuai jenis SIM dan syarat administrasi. Syarat administrasi cukup mudah yaitu membawa Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) asli setempat yang masih berlaku bagi Warga Negara Indonesia atau dokumen keimigrasian bagi Warga Negara Asing.

Diperlukan juga lampiran dalam pengajuan golongan SIM umum baru, yakni sertifikat lulus pendidikan dan pelatihan mengemudi, atau Surat Izin Kerja dari Kementerian yang membidangi Ketenagakerjaan bagi Warga Negara Asing yang bekerja di Indonesia. Kesehatan jasmani dan rohani juga menjadi salah satu syarat pengajuan atau perpanjangan SIM. Surat ini biasanya dapat dibuat di klinik kepolisian, atau di pusat pelayanan kesehatan yang merupakan keterangan dari dokter.

Setelah persyaratan sudah disiapkan, selanjutnya adalah mengambil formulir permohonan pembuatan SIM dan bayar sesuai dengan tarif yang telah ditentukan.

Kemudian isi formulir pendaftaran tersebut sesuai data pribadi dengan benar. Kemudian serahkan formulir tersebut ke petugas loket yang telah disediakan. Tunggu nama anda dipanggil oleh petugas loket tersebut.

Jika tidak sempat untuk datang langsung ke tempat pembuatan SIM atau Polres setempat, jangan khawatir. Bisa dengan melakukan pendaftaran sim online, melalui situs resmi Polri di https://sim.korlantas.polri.go.id.

Ikuti langkah-langkahnya, dan isi setiap kolom Pendaftaran SIM Online Seperti, data pemohon, data pribadi, dan data keadaan darurat. Setelah semuanya selesai, secara otomatis sistem akan mengirim email sebagai bukti registrasi online telah berhasil.

Jika tidak lulus pada salah satu dari kedua tes tersebut, anda diperbolehkan mengulang setelah tenggang 7 hari, 14 hari, dan 30 hari. Sama seperti untuk tes tulis, jika anda mengulang tes praktik lalu tidak lulus, tidak mengulang, tidak datang kembali, atau tidak ada keterangan, uang yang telah dibayarkan akan dikembalikan.

Untuk yang dinyatakan lulus melewati serangkaian tes dan persyaratan, maka selanjutnya adalah proses identifikasi. Di sini anda akan diminta untuk melakukan pemotretan foto SIM, membubuhkan tanda tangan serta sidik jari pada sistem komputer, yang akan secara otomatis menjadi bagian dari identitas pribadi anda.

Setelah proses di atas selesai, tinggal menunggu pembuatan SIM oleh petugas hingga nama anda dipanggil untuk mengambil SIM yang sudah jadi di loket pengambilan SIM.

Kompol Hedwin juga menginformasikan jadwal pelayanan SIM di Satpas. Pada hari Senin sampai Jumat Satpas buka dari pukul 8 pagi sampai pukul 3 sore, sedangkan di akhir pekan buka di hari Sabtu dari pukul 8 pagi hingga 12 siang.
