Apalagi, di momen puasa Ramadan tahun ini, hotel bintang lima yang terletak di kawasan Mayjend Sungkono itu menghadirkan nuansa Turki. ”Kami ingin memberikan pengalaman yang tidak terlupakan bagi para tamu, terutama soal kuliner,” kata General Manager Shangri-La Surabaya Jonathan Reynolds.
Beberapa menu lezat seperti kebab, kofte, imam bayildi, karniyarik, pide, sup lentik merah, dan baklava siap menyambut para tamu yang datang. Tapi tak hanya itu saja, buffet dengan menu tradisional dan internasional juga tetap tersedia.
Tim beerita.id sempat mencicipi buka puasa disana. Yang wajib dicoba adalah shawarma. Roti pita yang diisi aneka sayur segar, potongan daging, serta dioleskan mayonnaise. Hmmm, sungguh menjadi menu pembuka yang pas saat buka puasa. Jangan lupa damping dengan kopi khas Turki yang dimasak di atas pasir.
Benar-benar perpaduan yang luar biasa lezat.
Karena mengangkat tema Turki, so pasti sudah ada ice man Dondurma yang sudah tersohor keisengannya. Mungkin di situ juga manfaatnya bulan puasa, jadi bisa melatih kesabaran hehe.
Total ada ratusan menu yang disajikan tiap harinya. Ruangan yang disiapkan ada dua. Outdoor dan indoor. Untuk outdoor, tamu akan langsung ditemani sajian live music. Tempatnya yang ada di pool side membuat nuansa berbuka puasa bersama keluarga menjadi lebih menyenangkan.
Fia Armand, salah satu pengunjung mengaku puas dengan layanan yang diberikan oleh Shangri-La Hotel. ”Benar-benar menunjukkan kelasnya. Rasanya yang enak, kebersihan yang terjaga, dan suasana yang nyaman sungguh pas di hati,” katanya.
Ya, jika berbicara soal citarasa, kreasi Chef dari Shangri-La Hotel Surabaya sudah tidak diragukan lagi. Terbaik dari semua hotel yang ada di Kota Pahlawan.
