Beerita.id – Grab, everyday superapp terkemuka di Asia Tenggara, hari ini, menggelar Safety Roadshow pertamanya di kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Safety Roadshow menjadi rangkaian acara yang diadakan Grab di empat kota, di mana sebelumnya telah dilaksanakan di Bandung setelahnya menyusul kota Medan dan Makassar. Tujuan diadakannya Safety Roadshow sendiri merupakan kelanjutan kerja sama antara Grab dengan Komisi Nasional Anti Kekerasan Terhadap Perempuan (Komnas Perempuan) dan menjadi bentuk komitmen Grab sebagai platform paling aman untuk menghadirkan perjalanan yang lebih nyaman bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia.
Sebagai pelopor dalam menciptakan standar keamanan yang tinggi di Indonesia, Grab berkomitmen menjadi platform paling aman bagi seluruh pengguna. Grab ingin menjawab tantangan keselamatan transportasi utama di Indonesia dengan menghadirkan fitur-fitur keselamatan terbaru yang diumumkan di Safety Roadshow. Fitur-fitur ini merupakan bagian dari Roadmap Teknologi Keselamatan, untuk mencapai “nol insiden” pada jumlah kecelakaan yang dapat dicegah dan menciptakan keseharian yang lebih aman. Tak cuma itu, Safety Roadshow juga menghadirkan Edukasi Perlindungan Penumpang dan Mitra Pengemudi Perempuan di Transportasi Onlinebagi para mitra pengemudi Grab di Surabaya yang dibawakan oleh Komisi Nasional Anti Kekerasan Terhadap Perempuan (Komnas Perempuan). Sesi edukasi ini merupakan bagian dari kerja sama dengan Komnas Perempuan yang telah terjalin sejak tahun lalu untuk mengembangkan praktik terbaik dalam menangani dan mencegah kekerasan seksual dan membekali mitra pengemudi Grab tentang pedoman anti kekerasan seksual.
Dede Sadeli, City Manager Grab Surabaya mengatakan, “Sebagai everyday superapp dan pelopor dalam menciptakan standar keamanan yang tinggi di Indonesia, Safety Roadshow mempertegas komitmen Grab demi menjadikan perjalanan lebih aman baik bagi mitra pengemudi maupun penumpang. Dalam kesempatan kali ini, kami juga memperkenalkan fitur keselamatan terbaru yang termasuk dari inisiatif Roadmap Teknologi Keselamatan ditujukan untuk meminimalisir insiden yang bisa sepenuhnya dicegah, mengurangi kecelakaan, dengan menciptakan kebiasaan baru yang mengutamakan keselamatan.”Masruchah, Komisioner Komnas Perempuan menambahkan, “Kolaborasi dengan Grab dalam Safety Roadshow kali ini merupakan bagian dari kerja sama yang telah kami inisiasi sejak akhir tahun lalu. Kami juga telah memberikan masukan kepada Grab agar bisa berupaya maksimal mencegah kekerasan terhadap
perempuan, terutama kekerasan seksual yang dialami saat berpergian. Kami tentu sangat mengapresiasi upaya yang dilakukan Grab dengan para ahli di bidangnya demi meningkatkan keselamatan dan perlindungan perempuan. Karenanya, kami berharap Safety Roadshow kali ini memberikan ilmu baru yang bisa diimplementasikan oleh penumpang dan mitra pengemudi, baik laki-laki dan perempuan, agar bisa menciptakan perjalanan yang lebih aman dan nyaman.”
Fitur Keselamatan Terbaru Grab
- Penyamaran nomor telepon pemanggil (Number Masking) – Melalui fitur ini, Grab akan menggunakan nomor telepon virtual dalam setiap perjalanan yang dilakukan melalui aplikasi, sehingga mitra pengemudi dan penumpang tidak akan memiliki akses kepada nomor telepon pribadi masing-masing. Fitur ini telah diluncurkan untuk seluruh layanan transportasi Grab di seluruh Indonesia.
- Free Call (VoIP) – Selain penyamaran nomor telepon, penumpang dan pengemudi kini dapat memilih “Free Call” yang akan memberikan panggilan gratis dalam aplikasi Grab. Selain menjaga keamanan dan privasi, fitur ini juga akan memberikan kemudahan komunikasi setelah penumpang memesan kendaraan.
- Verifikasi Wajah Pelanggan dan Pengemudi Melalui Swafoto – Penumpang yang tergabung dalam Grab untuk pertama kalinya harus melakukan verifikasi wajah secara langsung sebagai bentuk identifikasi sebelum mereka memesan kendaraan mereka untuk pertama kalinya. Pengemudi juga diwajibkan melakukan verifikasi wajah secara berkala untuk dapat masuk ke dalam aplikasi mereka.
- Tombol darurat (SOS Button) – Fitur ini memungkinkan para penumpang untuk mendaftarkan 3 (tiga) kontak darurat dalam aplikasi Grab. Apabila terjadi keadaan darurat saat melakukan perjalanan bersama Grab, penumpang dapat menekan tombol ‘DARURAT’ dan sistem Grab akan secara otomatis mengirimkan pesan peringatan kepada kontak darurat yang sudah didaftarkan sebelumnya atau memberikan notifikasi kepada tim Customer Experience Grab yang akan segera menghubungi penumpang.
- Fitur bagikan lokasi perjalanan (Share My Ride) – Melalui fitur ini, para penumpang dapat membagikan tautan yang terhubung pada perjalanannya bersama Grab kepada orang-orang terdekat yang dapat dipantau secara real-time.
Saat ini Grab menyediakan layanan dengan jangkauan terluas di Asia Tenggara di 338 kota yang tersebar di 8 negara dengan lebih dari 152 juta unduhan aplikasi, termasuk Indonesia tempat Grab beroperasi di 224 kota dari Sabang hingga Merauke.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Riset Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) dan Tenggara Strategics, Grab telah berkontribusi sebesar 48,9 triliun rupiah bagi perekonomian Indonesia. Selain transportasi, bisnis layanan pesan-antar makanan GrabFood juga berkembang pesat di Indonesia, beroperasi di 178 kota di Indonesia dengan volume pengiriman tumbuh hampir 10 kali lipat pada tahun 2018.
