Kabakorwil III Prov. Jatim Terima Pataka Destana Tsunami
Beerita.id – Kepala Badan Koordinasi Wilayah (Bakorwil) Pemerintahan dan Pembangunan III Prov. Jatim di Malang, Benny Sampir Wanto, menerima Pataka Destana Tsunami Regional Jawa Timur 2019 dari Kabakorwil V Prov. Jatim di Lumajang, R. Tjahjo Widodo, di perbatasan Ds. Sidorengggo Kec. ampel Gading Kab. Malang, Jumat (16/7). Hadir dalam kegiatan ini a.l. Majen TNI (Purn ) Prof.Dr.Syamsul Maarif, S.lo M.H, guru Besar UNHAN yang sekaligus sebagai inisiator Ikatan Ahli Bencana Indonesia.
Prosesi penerimaan Pataka Destana Tsunami ini diawali dengan penyerahaaan pataka dari Kalaksa Kab. Lumajang kepada Kabakorwil V Prov. Jatim, yang selanjutnya diserahkan ke Kabakorwil III Prov. Jatim di Malang. Terakhir, pataka diserahkan kepada Kalaksa Kab. Malang.
“Serah terima pataka ini sebagai penanda usai dan mulai masuknya kegiatan penguatan desa tangguh bencana dari sebuah wilayah ke wilayah lainnya,” ujar Benny Sampir Wanto.
Dijelaskan, untuk penguatan ketangguhan terhadap bencana di wilayah pesisir selatan Jatim di wilayah Bakorwil III, dimulai tanggal 16 – 19 Juli, meliputi sebanyak 34 desa, yaitu Kab. Malang sebanyak 19 desa dan Kab. Blitar 15 desa.
Terkait materi penguatan ketangguhan bencana, Kabakorwil III Prov Jatim ini menambahkan beragam kegiatan dilakukan oleh Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Nasional (BNPB), a.l. sosialisasi dan penguatan aparatur desa, inventarisasi kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana, penanaman vegetasi, serta penyelenggaraan panggung pertunjukkan dan api unggun kesiapsiagaan masyarakat.
Penyelenggaraan tanggal 12 – 22 Juli
Sementara itu, menjawab pertanyaan mengenai kegiatan penguatan ketangguhan bencana di wilayah pesisir selatan Jatim, KaBPBD Prov. Jatim, Subhan Wahyudiono menjelaskan mulai tanggal 12-22 Juli, diawali dari Kab. Banyuwangi dan berakhir di Kab. Pacitan. Kegiatan ini sendiri, lanjutnya, dilakukan di 25 kabupaten di 5 provinsi di P. Jawa, yaitu Jatim, Jateng, Jabar, DIY, dan Banten.
Dijelaskan, kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untuk menginformasikan potensi ancaman tsunami, mengidentifikasi awal ketangguhan desa rawan tsunami, dan mensosialisikan desa tangguh bencana tsunami pada masyarakat dan aparat di desa, kelurahan, kecamatan, serta kabupaten.
“Sebanyak 200 orang Tim Ekspedisi Desa Tangguh Bencana Pusat hadir di setiap kabupaten yang dikunjungi,” jelasnya. Tim beranggotakan para pemangku kepentingan, seperti BNPB, Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan, Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Kementerian Desa, Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat, serta Kementerian Sosial.
