PHE WMO Kembali Terima Penghargaan Bergengsi
Beerita.id – Gubernur Jawa Timur, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, menyerukan kepada industri untuk menggunakan tekhnologi ramah lingkungan. Pengurangan penggunaan plastik, hingga stop pencemaran lingkungan.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan mantan menteri pemberdayaan perempuan tersebut, saat perayaan Hari Lingkungan Hidup se Dunia, di Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Mayangan, Kota Probolinggo, Jawa Timur, Minggu kemarin.
Menurutnya, merujuk data World Health Organization (WHO) setiap tahun, sekitar 7 juta orang meninggal karena polusi udara. Dari 7 juta itu sekitar 70% berada di kawasan Asia Pasifik. “Sedangkan data yang saya terima per hari ini, update pagi ini, di Indonesia sekitar 62.000 penduduk Indonesia, meninggal karena polusi udara,” katanya. Karena itu, lanjut mantan menteri sosial ini, tema Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup pada ulang tahun kali ini “Biru Langitku Hijau Bumiku”
Tak hanya menghimbau penggunaan tekhnologi ramah lingkungan hingga stop pencemaran lingkungan. Dalam kesempatan itu sejumlah perusahaan juga diberi penghargaan terkait keikutsertaan peduli lingkungan. Yakni PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) West Madura, PT Semen Indonesia persero, PT Indofood cbp Sukses Makmur. Selanjutnya PT Bumi Suksesindo, PT PJB up Gresik, dan PT PLN Persero Pembangkitan Lontar dan PT PJB Paiton.
Penghargaan kategori Laporan Pelaksanaan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup Tahun 2019, ini disampaikan Khofifah, sebagai bentuk apresiasi tertinggi pemerintah Jawa Timur, terhadap perusahaan ramah lingkungan.
Selain menerima penghargaan, perusahaan-perusahaan ini juga menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) pelestarian Sungai Brantas. Atau disebut adopsi Brantas.
Sekadar diketahui, dalam perayaan ini secara keseluruhan ada 211 penghargaan di bidang lingkungan hidup Provinsi Jawa Timur, yang diberikan. Dan dari seluruh peserta acara kurang lebih 2000 orang diharapkan bisa menggiatkan sinergi lingkungan hidup yang Lestari di Jawa Timur.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Khofifah, juga mengajak elemen masyarakat dan perusahaan agar memanfaatkan sampah menjadi energi. “Kita berikan referensi kepada daerah-daerah lain di Indonesia, untuk pemanfaatan sampah menjadi listrik. Ternyata kita sudah melakukan di Surabaya dan Mojokerto,” katanya.
Olahan sampah menjadi energi ini, menurutnya telah diatur melalui Peraturan Presiden Nomor 18 Tahun 2016. “Pemerintah menetapkan percepatan pembangunan pembangkit listrik berbasis sampah menggunakan teknologi proses thermal incinerator atau pembakaran,” terangnya.
Sampah kota, lanjut Khofifah, nantinya diharapkan menjadi sumber energi terbarukan untuk menghasilkan listrik menggunakan cara gasifikasi, pyrolysis, dan incinerator.
Dijumpai terpisah General Manager PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO), Ani Surakhman, mengatakan, sejak 2011 Pertamina di Jawa Timur, sudah mengiplementasikan arahan dan monitoring SKK migas terkait lingkungan hidup. “Ada beberapa daerah yang kita jadikan tujuan pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Antara lain Pulau Madura, Kabupaten Gresik, Bangkalan dan sekitarnya,” kata Ani Surakhman.
Kendala implementasi Rencana Pengelolaan Lingkungan (RKL) dan Rencana Pemantauan Lingkungan (RPL), sesuai SKK Migas menurut Ani, terletak pada budaya dan sumber daya manusia sekitar program pertamina. Namun dengan usaha maksimal, hambatan itu akhirnya teratasi. “Saat ini kita sudah berhasil mencegah, mengendalikan dan menanggulangi dampak lingkungan hidup yang bersifat negatif. Kita juga sudah memaksimalkan dampak positif pertamina di beberapa daerah garapan,” katanya.
Harapan kedepan PT PHE WMO tetap konsen monitoring keunggulan & kelemahan pengelolaan lingkungan. Mampu mendeteksi secara dini perubahan perubahan kualitas lingkungan. (Bee 2)
