Baywatch
Pantai, perempuan seksi, dan konflik pertemanan menjadi bumbu utama dalam serial tv Baywatch. Sebagai formasi awal, serial ini diperankan oleh David Hasselhoff, David Charvet, Alexandra Paul, Yasmine Bleeth, Pamela Anderson, dan Erika Eleniak.
Baywatch mulai mengudara di Indonesia pertama kali di RCTI. Jam tayangnya adalah pukul 20.00, kemudian diubah jadi jam 17.00. Tapi karena banyaknya teguran dari masyarakat, film itu kemudian pindah jam tayang lagi menjadi pukul 22.00
Knight Rider
Setiap nonton serial ini, pasti yang ada di bayangan generasi 1990’an adalah mimpi memiliki mobil yang sama. Bisa jalan sendiri, bisa dipanggil lewat jam tangan, dan yang terpenting bisa bicara. Ah, segala kenangan indah tentang si Kitt, mobil canggih milik David Hasselhoff dalam serial Knight Rider memang selalu terpatri indah.
Renegade
Bagi yang suka film bergenre semi petualangan, Renegade pasti masuk dalam daftar wajib tonton dulu. Menceritakan sosok polisi jujur yang difitnah melakukan kesalahan, Reno Raines yang diperankan secara apik oleh Lorenzo Lamas melakukan petualangan dengan menyamar. Tujuannya tetap untuk menumpas kejahatan.
Thunder in Paradise
Hulk Hogan memang seorang pegulat, tapi di sisi lain, dia juga aktor yang memiliki bakat luar biasa. Salah satunya dia tunjukkan saat berperan sebagai Randolph Spencer di film Thunder in Paradise. Serial ini menceritakan tentang dua mantan anggota navy selas yakni Spencer dan Martin Brubaker yang berprofesi sebagai tentara bayaran untuk memberantas kejahatan.
Aksi mereka didukung oleh perahu tempur berteknologi tinggi yang bernama Thunder.
Air Wolf
Satu lagi serial tv di era 1990’an yang masih teringat jelas. Apalagi kalau bukan Air Wolf. Serial yang menampakkan kecanggihan helicopter hitam tersebut dibintangi oleh Jan Michael Vincent sebagai Stringfellow Hawke dan Ernest Borgnine sebagai Dominic Santini.
Sayangnya, di kehidupan nyata, nasib tidak beruntung dialami oleh Jan Michael. Karena kecanduan alkohol, hidupnya menderita. (bee5)
